Are you a new mom or mom-to-be?
We offer a free mobile app that can help guide you through your pregnancy. It also helps with the first two years of your baby’s life. The app is called DueDatePlusbyBSCPromise. It is available to Blue Shield Promise Medi-Cal members in San Diego and Los Angeles Counties in English and Spanish.
How to use it
You can use DueDatePlusbyBSCPromise to look up symptoms and issues you may have during pregnancy. You can view ultrasound videos, set reminders, and find local resources. The app has tips for new parents and developmental milestones for babies. The app sends daily affirmations to help you stay positive. You can add your partner and family members so they can follow along on their own mobile device. By downloading DueDatePlusbyBSCPromise and entering your member ID, you may qualify for a member incentive.

Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)
You may also qualify for assistance from the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC). It is a government program that can help you get healthy food for yourself and your baby. WIC offers breastfeeding support, too. Ask your doctor or midwife how to sign up for this no-cost program or learn more about WIC online. You can also call California WIC toll-free at (888) 942-9675.
