Join the Wellvolution!

Wellvolution® is an easy, social and fun approach to wellness. It offers you and your family online tools and programs to help you get and stay healthy:

  • Well-Being Assessment: Take our confidential Well-Being Assessment to receive a personalized report of your overall well-being and ways to improve your health.
  • Daily Challenge: Daily Challenge® is a fun, interactive program in which you'll receive a daily email to perform one simple wellness-related task that can help you improve many areas of your well-being.
  • QuitNet: Get the help you need to quit smoking for good by enrolling in QuitNet®, the longest running online smoking cessation community in the world.

Get started

You must first register on to access Blue Shield's programs:

  1. Go to
  2. Bookmark the page for easy access to the Well-Being Assessment, Daily Challenge, and QuitNet features available only to Blue Shield members.
  3. Select the Ready, Set, Go! button to sign up.

Note: Searches for Daily Challenge or QuitNet using search engines such as Google or Yahoo! will return results for the public websites only and not the specific features available to Blue Shield members.

Take the Well-Being Assessment

Once registered, you can take the confidential Well-Being Assessment by signing in to and clicking on the Survey button. The survey will ask you about your:

  • Purpose
  • Relationships
  • Financial Security
  • Sense of Community
  • Physical Well-being

The assessment typically takes about 15 minutes.

You will receive a personalized report with scores in each of these areas and how your well-being compares with others. You will also get recommendations about ways you can improve your well-being.

You can take the Well-Being Assessment again 90 days after you have completed it for the first time. After that, you can take an assessment once a year.

Core and Health Savings Plan participants also have access to a Health Coach program after they complete their initial assessment. Health coaches provide support for behavior change in areas such as weight management, nutrition, stress management, and fitness. Health coaches will call members who need additional support. Members can also call a health coach or opt out of coaching calls at any time.

Start Your Daily Challenge

Get started by signing in to, selecting Daily Challenge, and choosing a track that interests you. There are dozens of tracks to choose from including:

  • Better Eating
  • Conquering Clutter
  • Flexibility and Posture
  • Emotional Enrichment
  • Money Matters

Every morning, you'll receive an email or text with a small, simple action to complete that day. When you complete a challenge, your profile is updated with a credit. You'll be able to share how you did the challenge and read how other people did theirs.

Quit Smoking with QuitNet

QuitNet offers a dynamic tobacco cessation program with daily email or text support. To get started with QuitNet, login to and click on the QuitNet program.

The program includes:

  • 24/7 access: Real-time encouragement and support
  • Certified counselors: Available in the QuitNet community and through private messaging
  • Digital QuitGuide: A complete guide to quitting smoking
  • Lifetime digital membership: Ongoing evaluation and discussion forums to support members beyond their initial success

UC Care, Health Savings Plan, and Core plan members also have access to coaching by phone with certified tobacco cessation specialists and Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) by mail.
