Registering your online account is easy and takes less than five minutes. To start, you’ll need your member ID number.
Download the app
Manage your health care from anywhere with the Blue Shield of California app. After you register for your online account, you can use the same login for the app. Once you’re on the app, allow push notifications. That way you won’t miss important health reminders and plan updates. You can also add your digital member ID card to your Apple Wallet® or Google Wallet.
Never worry about a late payment. If you have a monthly premium, you can automatically make payments through our AutoPay service. Once you’ve logged in to your online account, go to the Current Bill tab and enroll.
Take advantage of your preventive care benefits by scheduling your yearly wellness visit. Regular checkups can help find health concerns early when they may be most treatable.

How do I register my online account?
Go to new member registration and enter your Social Security number or member ID number (for Medicare Advantage or Prescription Drug Plan members). Next, you’ll be asked to provide an email address and other contact information.
How do I add my ID card to my Apple Wallet® or Google Wallet?
Log in to the mobile app and open your ID card. Select the Add to Apple Wallet® or Google Wallet to transfer your ID card to your digital wallet.
How do I update my communication preferences and contact information?
Log in to your online account. Under My Profile, you can update your contact information and how you would like Blue Shield to reach you. If you have coverage through your employer, reach out to your Human Resources team to update your address information.
How do I view my claims, costs, and make a payment?
Your member dashboard is personalized to meet your needs. Log in today to view your claims, set up AutoPay, or review your benefit cost shares.
