Blue Shield Promise Cal MediConnect Plan gives members a voice in their health care, and the ability to self-manage their conditions. We strive to assist our Cal MediConnect members in leading healthy, independent lives by covering unlimited transportation to medically necessary and covered services, providing free Personal Emergency Response System (PERS) devices, home meal delivery and paying for SilverSneakers® gym membership.
Easy access to services and care solutions
Our members have their own personal Care Navigator, a Customer Care representative available via phone seven days a week, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Members also have access to a free round-the-clock nurse advice line, health education workshops, a social worker, and more.
Benefits, List of Covered Drugs, pharmacy and provider networks, and/or copayments may change from time to time throughout the year and on January 1 of each year.
