Aliza Arjoyan is Senior Vice President of Provider Partnership & Network Management at Blue Shield of California. Blue Shield is a tax-paying, nonprofit health plan that serves the state’s commercial, individual, and government markets. The company has more than 4.3 million members and, in 2018, generated more than $20 billion in annual revenue.

Arjoyan leads the company’s provider engagement strategies and oversees Blue Shield’s provider partnerships, network contracting, provider relations, network compliance, and network analytics. She joined Blue Shield in October 2017.

Arjoyan has over 25 years of California-based healthcare management experience. Before joining Blue Shield, Arjoyan led Humana’s network team for the California and Hawaii markets, helping expand the organization’s footprint from five counties to 21 counties through strategic provider partnerships and innovative value-based structures. Prior to that she focused on Medicare and Medi-Cal network strategy and provider engagement at SCAN Health Plan.

Arjoyan earned an MBA in healthcare administration from University of Phoenix and a bachelor of science in healthcare Administration from California State University at Northridge.
