How it works

Each qualified, caring Heal physician arrives with a medical assistant to help take care of you during your house call. Your Heal physician can handle pediatrics, urgent, primary, and preventive care. Heal physician visits are on average 31 minutes allowing the Heal physician time to get to know you, your health history, and provide a personalized comprehensive care plan. Upon your request, Heal can also share the visit summary with your office-based primary care physician.

Your cost share for a Heal physician visit is dependent on your health plan coverage. Heal will tell you the exact cost before you book your appointment. If you have a PPO plan, your cost is usually the same as a visit to an office-based physician. If you have an HMO plan, your cost is usually $139.

Easy steps for scheduling a Heal physician visit:

  • Call Heal or download the Heal app to set up your Heal account
  • Provide your address
  • Pick your time slot
  • Pay your copay
  • A Heal physician and Medical Assistant come to your home, office, or hotel

Health Tips

Asthma is a treatable, reversible condition that affects more than 25 million people in the United States. Appropriate medication management for patients with asthma reduces the need for rescue medication—as well as ER visits and missed days of work or school. Talk to your doctor about an asthma action plan and take all your prescribed asthma medications.
