3rd dose of 2 or 3 (RotaTeq® brand)

This highly contagious intestinal disease can be dangerous and unpleasant for babies and young children. The number of doses depends on the brand of the vaccine. 

3rd dose of 5

The DTaP vaccine provides protection from three serious diseases that affect all ages: diphtheria, tetanus, and whooping cough (pertussis). Whooping cough infections are especially dangerous for babies.

3rd dose of 4

Polio is a serious disease that infects the spinal cord and causes paralysis. Children under 5 years old are most frequently affected. Continued use of IPV has helped keep the U.S. polio-free.

3rd dose of 3 or 4

Babies and children younger than 5 years old are most at risk for Hib. It’s a bacterial infection that can cause serious illness and, in some cases, be life-threatening. 

3rd dose of 4 

Pneumococcal disease can cause potentially serious and even deadly infections. PCV protects against the bacteria that cause this disease.

1st dose of 2 

Flu is a serious illness of the respiratory system. Caused by the influenza virus, flu spreads easily. It can make young children sick, especially if they have chronic conditions like asthma. For the first flu vaccine dose to be effective, it should be received at 6 months of age, followed by a second dose four weeks later and then annually.
