Announcement
October, November and December Renewals important updates
You may see additional rate impacts following the October renewal release, as Blue Shield continues evaluating the impact of California’s Managed Care Organization (MCO) tax updates. Additionally, release dates for November and December renewals are under review while we await final guidance from the Department of Managed Health Care (DMHC). We are closely monitoring the situation and will communicate any changes promptly.
Employer Enrollment Tool Renewals
The EET renewals tool can be accessed by selecting “Shop & Enroll” from the Broker Connection Small Business drop-down menu. While renewal is still a new feature, we have continued to make upgrades to your renewal experience, such as:
- Shield Renewals is now directly linked from the EET renewal dashboard.
- Optional “Renew as is” checkbox creates a comprehensive to-do list so you can quickly and confidently manage your book of business.
- Consolidated broker user guide supports your questions for all things EET.
