Blue Shield will host a series of online webinars to help you sell after open enrollment ends and when your clients are then eligible for a Special Enrollment Period (SEP), starting 2/1/2021.
The sales team will cover updates regarding Special Enrollment Periods (SEP) including context behind qualifying life events during the COVID-19 environment, COVID-19 access to care for your clients, and training for the new enrollment system.
See our schedule for 2021 Special Enrollment Period (SEP) webinars.
In order to buy health coverage outside of an open enrollment period, your clients must have a qualifying life event. This means your clients are eligible for a Special Enrollment Period (SEP) and can enroll or change their health plan during that time. Most Special Enrollment Periods (SEP) last 60 days from the date of the qualifying life event. Download our 2021 IFP Eligibility and Residency Policy that contains the Special Enrollment Period (SEP) eligibility guidelines for qualifying life events.
