What is attestation?

In accordance with state and federal law, contracted providers and facilities must attest to the accuracy of their directory information at least every 90 days.

Providers and facilities that fail to comply will be suppressed from our directories.

Please review directory information to ensure its accuracy before attesting.

What causes suppression?

As a participant in the Blue Shield of California or Blue Shield Promise Health Plan network, you must verify your directory information at least every 90 calendar days to meet both state and federal requirements. Because you have not responded to our prior notifications, we are required to suppress your information from our provider directory until you attest to its accuracy. If you have questions, call the Provider Customer Service team at (800) 541-6652 from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. PT, Monday through Friday.
