  • Greater Los Angeles Agency of Deafness, Inc. (GLAD)

    The mission of GLAD is to ensure the access of the deaf and hard of hearing community to the same opportunities afforded their hearing counterparts. GLAD's general purpose is the promotion of the social, recreational, cultural, educational, and vocational welfare of its deaf and hard of hearing constituents. 

    GLAD's specific and primary focus is to act as a coordinating agency that addresses the broad social service needs of deaf and hard of hearing people through direct service provision, advocacy, research, and dissemination of information regarding deafness to parents, professionals, and consumers.

  • Northern California Community Interpreters

    Community Interpreters provide sign language interpreting and education and serves the area from Monterey to the Oregon border. It arranges interpreters for deaf individuals who use American Sign Language and offers 24-hour emergency interpreting.
