Small Business Summary of Benefits
Summary of Benefits (SOB) documents include the coverage information you are used to seeing, but in a simplified format. This format makes it easier for members to read and understand their plan benefits. SOBs are included in renewals, open enrollment materials, and member welcome kits as part of the Evidence of Coverage (EOC) document.

Evidence of Coverage (EOC) and Summary of Benefits and Coverage (SBC) plan documents are available on our health plan document page. Federal law requires plan sponsors (employers) to provide prospective enrollees with SBCs during their open enrollment period, and EOCs after members have completed their plan selection and enrollment.
Blue Shield group plan administrators should also receive an email linking them directly to a plan documents page specific to their group.
