Blue Shield offers a variety of PPO and Trio HMO plans designed to fit a range of budgets. Our plans are available for purchase directly through Blue Shield as well as Covered California.

PPO plans

With statewide coverage in all 58 counties, Blue Shield’s PPO plans are designed for those of your clients who are looking for the flexibility of seeing any doctor in one of the largest provider networks in the state. Our Exclusive PPO Network includes more than 62,000 doctors, 320 hospitals and 1,000 urgent care centers.

Trio HMO plans

Our Trio ACO HMO Network covers 28 counties and includes 345 hospitals, over 6,100 primary care physicians, and 24,200 specialists.
