Tera Clizbe, Vice President
Born and raised in California, Tera has dedicated her career to the Labor & Trust market. She is an active member of the Labor & Trust community through various organizations that involve and support members and the labor and management relationship. Tera is proud to be part of Blue Shield’s nonprofit, mission-driven organization, and its Labor & Trust advocacy efforts. Tera graduated from University of California, Berkeley with a degree in American studies and labor relations.
Michael Bullock, Director
Mike has more than 25 years of experience working exclusively in the Labor & Trust market with various carriers, including PacifiCare/UnitedHealthcare, Health Net, Anthem, and now Blue Shield. Mike has worked in various sales and account management capacities in California, and the Pacific Northwest markets, advising and partnering with more than 100 Taft-Hartley Trust Fund accounts during his career.
Jonathan Cortez, Account Executive
Jonathan has more than 25 years of experience in health care and has worked with Labor accounts since 2008. He graduated from California State University, Northridge with a degree in business administration and marketing.
Martha Diaz, Senior Account Services
Martha has more than 30 years of experience in healthcare administration, services, and sales, servicing large and mid-large accounts. She joined Blue Shield in 2004. Before Blue Shield, she worked at Cigna for 15 years. She started her healthcare career working for Clinica Medica Familiar, a family-owned small chain of medical clinics in Los Angeles.
Shannon Kuhl, Account Executive
Shannon has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare benefits, working on Labor & Trust accounts at Health Net, PacifiCare, and Pensa Health Management. She graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in psychology, sociology, and tech journalism.Neil Barrett, Sr. Account Service Representative
Neil has been with Blue Shield since 2011 and has worked with Labor & Trust accounts since 2022. He utilizes his deep knowledge and understanding of Blue Shield’s operations to proactively identify solutions that best support the needs of Blue Shield’s clients and members. Prior to his current role, Neil held positions within our Claims, Eligibility, and IT departments.Michelle Donaldson, Sr. Account Service Representative
Michelle has been with Blue Shield for 18 years and was a founding member of the Labor & Trust team. She successfully develops and implements strategies to increase member loyalty, grow membership, and build strong client relationships. Prior to her current role returning to the Labor & Trust team, Michelle was part of Blue Shield’s Premier accounts team.Sarilyn Faria, Account Service Representative
Sarilyn has been with Blue Shield for more than 22 years and has worked with Labor & Trust accounts since 2019. She is committed to ensuring high-quality service 100% of the time, going the extra mile by remaining accessible and providing consistent communication with rapid resolutions. Prior to her current role, Sarilyn held leadership positions within Blue Shield’s Customer Care and Eligibility departments.
