Medicare-Eligible Renewals
Our Medicare Supplement plans are guaranteed renewable as long as your client pays the monthly dues.
Members are eligible for a 60-day Open Enrollment period every year, that starts on the first day of their birthday month and ends 60 days after their birthday. During this time, they may purchase any Medicare Supplement plan that offers benefits equal to or less than those provided by their current coverage, without regard to health status, claims experience, health care received, or medical condition.
If your clients want to switch to a Medicare Supplement plan with richer benefits or to an equal or lesser plan outside their Open Enrollment period, they must complete a new application that includes a statement of health, the replacement of coverage section, and authorization for release of medical information. The application is subject to underwriting review.
