Personalized support

We understand that various factors can affect pregnancy and we are here to provide extra support:

  • Health concerns such as high blood pressure, diabetes, a history of preterm labor, substance abuse, depression, or anxiety, among other conditions can all significantly impact a pregnancy.
  • Financial concerns, housing, transportation issues, finding childcare or other local resources can all prevent a new mom and her family from achieving optimal health and pregnancy outcomes.

Maternal mental health

We understand that pregnancy is a big change in your life. Our Maternal Mental Health Services offer you an additional layer of support before, during, and after pregnancy.

Combining our prenatal and behavioral health services, we offer you access to behavioral health specialists who can offer help and guidance on:

  • Stress management
  • Management of depression and anxiety
  • Other behavioral health conditions

The Maternity Program can refer you to behavioral health specialists. You can also access a behavioral health specialist by speaking with your primary care physician, obstetrician, or gynecologist.

You can also call the mental health customer service phone number on the back of your member ID card.
