How to book a ride
Get your member ID ready and contact Call the Car at (855) 200-7544 (TTY:711) to schedule your ride. Please book a ride at least 24 hours in advance. Call the Car is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.1
If you are experiencing an emergency, please call 911. Blue Shield's transportation service is for non-emergencies only.
You can receive text messages (SMS) for updates on your rides. You must have a mobile phone that is capable of receiving text messages. Standard message and data rates apply; please check with your mobile service provider.
